Multi-Sensor Design and Employment of Basler BT-67

Corvus Aviation partnered with a large satellite telecommunications company to design, build, and gain regulatory approval for an integrated sensor suite on the turbine-powered version of the venerable DC-3/C-47 Skytrain. The aircraft were to provide a proof of concept for space-based imaging and data analysis capabilities. Corvus Aviation recruited, trained, and employed a small team with experience in Electro-optical cameras, hyperspectral sensors, wide-area motion imagery sensors, synthetic aperture radar, and LiDAR sensors.
